Well, as I have been encouraged to do so by my Cuz Robert Henderson, I will attempt to set forth on this "blog" adventure ...

This endeavor will undoubtedly pose a challenge to me in that I am not a truly disciplined person to focus long enough to gather my thoughts and/or memories and attempt to compose a story - or blog -- so while this is something new for me, I accept the challenge and will mentally sort through all the thoughts and ideas floating around in my old head to see what I can come up with ... oops, can't end the sentence there -- my favorite old lawyer who I loved as a father with whom I was first employed stressed to me the no-no's of ending a sentence with a preposition-his name was George A. Rhoten--I had such love and admiration for that man and felt so lucky and blessed that I was able to know him and work with him and have him as not only an employer, but a truly good man and teacher...he has left such an impression on me...as well as his brother, Ray, and his son, David, also lawyers in the same firm--we were all like family...David, who is nine years older than me, is like a brother ..

Okay -- well, here we go -- I'll look forward to seeing for myself what I can come up with in the days/weeks ahead --
